Writer Meme Monday: Let It Go! [Or] Let the Words Flow!

Another bright and cheery NaNoWriMo-Monday-morning to ya!

It’s the last one! The end is nigh. Yay, I have/will hit my 50k! (Or: Curses! Not this year.)

I’m in the latter group. That being said, 50k was not my goal. I’m nearing the respectable 15k that I aimed to achieve and am finding my new writing routine.

It’s tiring, being a pregnant SAHM with two little ones running around. My usual writing window of evening is overshadowed by fatigue, so I’ve spent the month restructuring my schedule.

I’m happy to report, it’s working! The words are flowing! So I’ll be getting back to it.

Let it flow, fellow writers! And happy almost-end-of-NaNo!

  1. Oh how life gets in the way of our writing. Regardless of our work situation those wee ones require so much time/energy/creativity. I applaud you and envy you for finding a strategy that is working. Bravo you!

    • Thanks! It’s a struggle some days and others seems to fall into place. I feel like I’m getting into a rhythm (finally!) and when baby boy joins us in March, it’ll probably all be blown to bits! 😉 Ahh, life! It’s a good one, though. I’m grateful these are my struggles. Happy trails!
