Oooooh yes.
When I sent of my last WIP, I was on top of the world….mainly because it was done and off to her!
I let it rest for a bit, then I re-read it with my “editor” glasses on.
And ooooooh, my. Did it need work.
Fortunately for me, because I did this it was not such a surprise when it came back in need of some major and minor changes.
But, that’s what beta readers and editors are for, right? 😉

I’m also in editing mode and it seems there is no distraction too small to pull me away from it. Some days it’s like I’m searching for distractions.
I don’t hate editing, I promise. It’s just that my focus has expired like so much lumpy milk.

Agreed! I have a chapter printed and sitting in my bedside table to read and edit during night time feedings. It’s been there 3mo now! 😂
