The editing of the book continues!

Quick recap: It came back from the editor several weeks back, right before I pitched it to an agent at a writing conference.

The agent asked for chapters, knowing I had gotten it back from an editor and had work to do on it before it was submission ready.

Then I left it alone.

I’m please to report that with some much needed distance, I have been able to attack it with new-found enthusiasm!

And I’ve killed off an entirely new character! 😮

I’m incredibly grateful to my editor. She continues to be supportive while offering the wisdom of experience, and feedback that’s both constructive and invaluable!

The chapters should be ready to go this week…never mind that I have a query letter to draft as well.

(*Now my fingers are crossed the agent doesn’t find the delay to have been too long!*)

I’ve been busy! And it seems I aim to stay that way! 😉 How about you?
