I spent some time at the end of the week working on the women’s fiction novel that I wrote.

Let’s say there’s what we remember writing….what we imagine ourselves writing…

And what we actually wrote.

Enter my red pen. (Okay, okay…it’s purple.)

Somewhere under all that bruising to the page were black letters.

They will rise again! Better! Stronger! More concise! And with fewer adverbs!
