Fabric rustled and the hood was jerked off. Blinding light seared her retinas.
A meaty hand gripped Jane’s left arm, forcing her onward. She glanced over her shoulder. The hand belonged to a thick man in black. He ignored her backwards look.
The toe of her right shoe caught and she stumbled. His hand tightened, halting her fall. She righted herself and shielded her eyes with her right arm, looking around.
They were headed for a white Cessna. A familiar figure appeared from the doorway and crossed his arms.
Jane froze.
The man shoved her forward again.
Towards her ex.

That is scary. I like how you built up the tension, with the hood, and the thick man. Her ex can’t seem to let go.
